WLR3 - Industry Updates

As a CP you’ll no doubt be aware of the numerous open WLR3 industry group meetings that take place, often on a monthly basis to allow you to express your requirements and help to shape the future of the WLR and other common products.

We do however recognise that many CP’s do not have the capacity to send representatives to attend, however we do believe that customers can greatly benefit from visibility of the discussions at some of these meetings and we have therefore provided a summary of the different groups below and we will be publishing the minutes of these meetings on our website moving forwards.

Copper Products Process Group

The purpose of the Copper Products Process Group (CPPG) is to be the acknowledged industry body responsible for the development of clear, fit for purpose processes which support the WLR & LLU product portfolio.

Commercial Group

The Copper Product Commercial Group (CPCG) takes place to ensure that Openreach customers have the opportunity to share the latest news about the Copper market and any specific market development initiatives. It also provides a platform to discuss and optimise any future opportunities.

Service Management Forum

The purpose of the Service Management Forum is to be the acknowledged industry body responsible for all Service Management matters, processes and policy.

Order Desk Managers Meeting

The Order Desk Managers Meeting (ODM) gives industry WLR3 operational CP’s the opportunity to raise & discuss generic operational service issues with WLR Operational Service counterparts. The forum is reciprocal & also gives Openreach Operational teams the opportunity to work with Industry to improve Service Management, Customer satisfaction & in life WLR3 service issues.
